Doug J Smith – COO

As Co-founder and COO of Redwood Project, Doug is responsible for the daily operation of the company, and will work hand in hand with the future board present president. His responsibilities include fundraising and personnel management. The COO is the second in command of Redwood. Doug has 11 years of experience in the medical field, and is a Combat Medic and nurse in the U.S. Army. His previously held positions outside of the military have included Business Analyst, Project Manager, Quality Improvement Engineer, and Marketing Manager. Doug has built two businesses in jewelry and small building construction. He is still serving in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Combat Medic and plans on serving until retirement.
